Hi! I'm Akira Wakui, a Japanese artist. I always create my works using clay and 3D software. I work on ceramics, but now I am planning the world of these works with 3D animation. These works are inspired by the Japanese tea ceremony. In Japan, the spirit is to communicate through the tea ceremony regardless of age, gender, nationality, or status. If humanity can someday communicate with aliens, we want them to come to the tea party. When enjoying matcha in a formal tea ceremony, it is received in a very small space called a "Cha shitsu" that tea room. Even samurai cannot bring their swords into the tea room "Cha shitsu" when entering. The moment of having tea is an experience of a very special time.
